Behind The Scenes on my Video for Pixi

Hello! So yesterday, I filmed a little video for Pixi Skincare, focusing on their wonder product, Glow Tonic. It’s amazing.

I’ve been using it for about a year now, and it’s got some magic ingredients that my skin drinks up. It’s becoming a bit of a cult, and here’s why…

It’s got fructose and ginseng, which help oxygenate the skin as well as gently exfoliate (you don’t need massive gritty bits of sand to slough away dead skin: acids can do the same). (PS acid doesn’t =toxic….It can be derived from fruit acids, for example).

In case you’re put off my the sound of daily exfoliation, don’t be, as the aloe vera calms your skin down too. It’s wonderful after removing a face full of slap – a mixture of very soothing and very refreshing, all at once.

Well anyway – it was a lovely day of filming in their sweet little shop in Carnaby Street, which I heartily recommend. It’s where I first met and fell in love with the make up artist Amanda Bell, who persuaded me to buy neon green nail varnish around 5 years ago. The nail varnish is long gone but we’ve remained friends, bonding through a mutual love of Pixi Beauty and cats.

I also got to meet the skincare legend that is Caroline Hirons, who has roughly a squillion more blog readers than me and is trusted by beauty insiders and enthusiasts alike.

I can’t wait to get the video, and share it all with you.
